Chili Bush is a family-owned and managed brand operating from Winter Springs, Florida. Our business operates on very simple principles, which are underpinned with quality products, honesty, integrity, and good old-fashioned customer service. Our large family has roots in many distant and interesting places, including Portugal, South Africa, Hungary, England, and most recently, the United States. We truly are a melting pot of interesting cultures and delicious flavors.
South Africa has a strong Portuguese community, which originated from Portugal, Mozambique, and Angola. Over time, the South African and Portuguese cultures and influences intertwined to create amazing food full of spicy flavor. This also resulted in the birth of Peri Peri hot sauce. This magical sauce is eaten with just about anything but is particularly good with BBQ chicken, seafood, and meat. It is also often used as a dipping sauce at the table and is truly addictive to the soul! Peri-Peri hot sauce is the perfect marriage between flavor and heat.
Biltong is a traditional South African beef snack. Unlike beef jerky, Biltong is air-dried. Just about every Afrikaans family has a “secret” recipe. Truth be told, most, in their own way, are very tasty and delicious. Biltong is traditionally made from beef cuts which are “cured” with vinegar and other secret spices. Some prefer their Biltong to be moist while others prefer a drier snack. Either way, Biltong is simply delicious and is also a very healthy protein snack. We have combined our love for spice and Biltong and created our Chili Bush Beef Stix. These Beef Stix are prepared with a secret spice combination which is infused with mild Peri Peri and then processed in the traditional way. Our Beef Stix have just enough zest and flavor to tantalize your taste buds. Only top quality grass-fed organic beef and quality spices are used in the preparation of our Beef Stix.
